Columbia Care has recently obtained a final order from the Supreme Court of British Columbia that approves its business combination with Cresco Labs. This move will make Cresco Labs the new leader in cannabis, as it acquires Columbia Care. GrowGeneration Corp. has also announced the opening of its 60th store in Mount Holly, New Jersey.
The US cannabis industry has been growing rapidly, as several states have legalized recreational use of cannabis. During the recent elections, Maryland and Missouri joined the list of states that have legalized recreational use of cannabis, while North Dakota, South Dakota and Arkansas voted against election proposals on cannabis. This list only includes the main cannabis companies and excludes those that are not listed on the stock exchange. Columbia Care and Cresco Labs are currently the biggest cannabis companies in the US, with GrowGeneration Corp.
